Universal solution:
The Henderson Sectional door for use in industrial buildings

Henderson Industrial doors are the superior solution for use in industrial and commercial buildings. No matter what purpose your building is intended to serve, our warehouse doors will complete it from the outside, reliably and efficiently. They are highly-functional and extraordinarily robust, while at the same time being attractive. The Henderson sectional door for use in industrial buildings opens upwards. This means that the entire door opening is kept clear during drive-through, and all of the space in front of and behind the opening is fully retained. This enables you to make logistical use of every available centimetre. Not only does this functional principle guarantee smooth operations, it also significantly reduces the risk of damage to vehicles and equipment.

A sectional door to meet every requirement

Our warehouse doors can be adapted to any opening, both in new and old buildings. Due to the highly diverse nature of industrial and commercial processes, we offer two ranges of industrial door models, which cater to every specific requirement:

Henderson OSP42A
Henderson OSF42A
Applicable for both lines

42 mm-thick sandwich panel

A strong 42 mm thick sandwich panel, which is designed without thermal bridges (metal-metal connections) provides even better insulation values. The new designed finger protection (as standard) stands for maximum safety.

Aluminium frame sections

The modular design of the Henderson OSF42A Industrial Sectional Door provides complete freedom for special configuration in every situation. The aluminium frame sections can be delivered fully glazed, with panel fillings and even painted. Sections are also available as OSP42A panels.

Top seal

As standard, the upper double seal is attached to the top panel in order to seal the gap between the panel and the wall. The flexible rubber seal generates constant pressure on the door lintel, which ensures a maximum seal.

Side seal

As standard, the side seal with thermo-chamber closes the gap between the wall and the door leaf. The flexible rubber seal is precisely aligned to the door leaf's profile to ensure a maximum seal with minimum friction.

Rubber profile seal

Installation on the lower edge of the floor panel ensures that the seal acts as a barrier and shock absorber. The flexible O-shaped rubber profile ensures a maximum seal.

Metal profiles for reinforcement

Wider door panels and panels with windows are reinforced with metal profiles. These reinforcements reduce the deformation of the panel due to wind load or if the door leaf bends under its own weight in a horizontal position.

Handle for manual operation

All Henderson Industrial Sectional Doors are fitted with a solid, easy-to-grip handle, on which the Henderson logo can be found, for manual operation.

Roller brackets and hinges

Hinges and pulley brackets appear in a new, reinforced version. The result is a more quiet and gentle door run with improved stability.
OSP42A

Henderson – the cost saving model

This insulated panel door is perfect for entrances in all kinds of warehouse buildings, logistics centres and production facilities. It is extremely stable and particularly energy efficient thanks to its optimal thermal insulation properties. Its outstanding corrosion protection and high-quality guarantee a long life.

Henderson – the bright stylistic element

Even a sectional door for use in industry can provide a visual highlight and satisfy architectural requirements. The diverse model series is open to light and individual concepts. The glazed hall doors with frames are intended for applications for which light or transparency is required and so are ideal for presentation purposes. Our industrial doors have an exceptional luminous efficiency, fully exploit natural light and ensure a pleasant room atmosphere.

Equipment for industrial sectional doors

Windows
The door sections of each Industrial Sectional Door can be designed with windows. The number of windows per section depends directly on the overall width of the door.

Frame section
The OSP42A Normstahl Industrial Sectional Doors can be equipped with Normstahl OSF42A frame sections. The height of the section for OSP42A is exactly 545 millimetres and for OSF42A it varies between 425 and 704 millimetres.

Pass-doors
The pass-door with low threshold was developed in order to enable convenient crossing and minimise the risk of tripping for Industrial Sectional Doors.
The pass-door has a standard width of 900 mm and offers extra space.

Cylinder lock
The cylinder lock is operated with a key and provides your industrial sectional door with additional security. It can be operated from outside with a key or from inside with a panic lock cylinder.

Hardware details for industrial sectional doors

Seals above, below and at the sides
As standard, this upper double seal is attached to the top panel of the Industrial Sectional Door in order to seal the gap between the panel and the wall. The flexible rubber seal generates constant pressure on the door lintel, which creates a maximum seal.

The side seal with thermo chamber (as standard) closes the gap between the wall and the door leaf. The flexible rubber seal is precisely aligned to the door leaf's profile to ensure the optimum seal with minimum friction.

Installation on the lower edge of the floor panel ensures that the seal acts as a barrier and shock absorber. The flexible O-shaped rubber profile ensures a maximum seal.

Reinforcements
Industrial Sectional Doors with wide door panels and panels with windows are reinforced with metal profiles. These reinforcements reduce the deformation of the panel due to wind load or if the door leaf bends under its own weight in a horizontal position.

Types of operator for industrial sectional doors

Normstahl Industrial Sectional Doors can be opened and closed either manually or electrically. The control of electric doors can be activated either manually or completely automatically. The frequency of use, environmental conditions and the weight of the door are the main factors when deciding on the optimum operator for your industrial door.

Manual operation
If the Industrial Sectional Door is operated manually, the rope pull is directly connected to the door curtain. A hand chain makes the handling of heavy doors easier. The geared chain drive is suitable for doors with a maximum weight of 250 kg.

Electric operation
Your Industrial Sectional Door can be supplied with an electric operator or can be retrofitted with one. The electric control enables access to all access and automation functions which meet a range of requirements as regards type of traffic, frequency of traffic, weight of the door and temperature control.

Different rail runner systems

Five different systems ensure that the right fitting can be chosen for every object.

Standard fitting: The low-price solution for which the lintel must be at least 485 mm.

Standard low lintel fitting: The solution when the lintel is lower. Here 400 mm is sufficient.

Low lintel fitting: A low lintel fitting is possible for 265 mm. If the door is heavier than 250 kg, however, or if a pass-door is installed, 300 mm is then required.

Lifting fitting: The solution for large halls and doors. Here, the door vanishes completely from the possible working area.

Vertical fitting: The ideal fitting for halls with a great height. The door moves upwards vertically which is why the lintel height must be the same as the door itself.
